A Nutritionist Tells Whether There is a Dangerous Method of Brewing Tea and Coffee

The situation is serious, says the nutritionist, if after drinking tea or coffee with lemon, not only the pulse rate but also blood pressure begins to rise. The most dangerous way to make tea and coffee is to add lemon to the drinks. This is the opinion of nutritionist Boris Skachko.

“The acids it contains increase the number of soluble alkaloids, and caffeine from coffee, as well as caffeine, theobromine, and theophylline from tea, begin to act harshly, and the most dangerous point is your cardiovascular system, so much tea is dangerous here and now. The indicator is very simple – it is not an increase in heart rate after drinking tea or coffee with lemon. In other words, there was a heart rate of 80 – if it remained that way, then you are doing everything right. But an hour after coffee with lemon and three to four hours after tea with lemon, any physical activity is excluded, otherwise, the wear and tear of the heart muscle accelerates dramatically,” he said.

He also warns people that the situation is serious if, after drinking tea or coffee with lemon, not only their heart rate but also their blood pressure increases. Because caffeine stimulates not only the heart rate (if the heart is weak, but also blood pressure) if the blood vessels are not healthy enough.
