Ajvar Soup with Fresh Paprika Pieces

The perfect ajvar soup with fresh paprika pieces recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 700 g Mixed minced meat
  • 700 g Ajvar mild
  • 1 Red Hot peppers
  • 2 size Red pointed peppers
  • 600 g Processed cheese
  • 1,5 liter Vegetable broth
  • 2 Onions
  • 100 g Sour cream
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Tabsaco
  • Chilli oil for guessing
  1. Dice the onions, remove the seeds and white skins from the peppers and cut into small pieces. Cut the peppers very finely. Let the onion cubes become translucent in hot chilli oil and fry the minced meat in it until crumbly. Add the peppers and hot peppers. If these are still firm to the bite, add the ajvar and mix everything well. Top up with the vegetable stock and bring to the boil. Gradually let the processed cheese melt in the soup. Season to taste with salt, pepper and Tabasco. Finally stir in the sour cream and serve on the plates. We only had a delicious baguette roll with it.
