Ingredients
- 150 g aloe vera fillet from the jar
- 3 organic lemons
- 3 eggs
- 200 grams of sugar
- 200 ml rapeseed oil
- 300 g spelled flour
- 1 pack of baking powder
- 5 g bourbon vanilla
- 1 pinch of salt
Instructions
- Puree the aloe vera fillet, then add the eggs and beat until frothy. Set the mixture aside. Grate 1-2 organic lemons. Squeeze the lemons. Put 300g flour in a large bowl. Add the other ingredients one after the other: sugar, oil, baking powder, bourbon vanilla, pinch of salt and carefully mix into a cake batter. Finally, carefully fold in the aloe vera - egg mixture so that the mixture becomes fluffy. Then put the mixture in a greased loaf pan (28cm). The aloe vera fillet contains bitter substances (essential for bile and liver). We can no longer taste the bitter substances in raw cake batter after baking.
- Put the filled cake tin into the oven preheated to 175 degrees and bake for about 90 minutes.
