American Pizza Dough

The perfect american pizza dough recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 750 g Wheat flour type 450
  • 375 ml Milk
  • 150 g Butter
  • 65 g Yeast fresh
  • 3 piece Egg yolk
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  1. The recipe is for 6 people or 3 trays. Warm the milk to body temperature. Add the sugar, yeast and butter and stir. Let the mixture stand for 12 minutes. Knead the flour, salt, egg yolk and milk mixture into a dough. If necessary, use flour or a little milk if the dough is too mushy or too firm. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes. Divide the dough and roll out on 3 trays, then let rise for another 15 minutes. Cover the dough, e.g. with tomato sauce and other ingredients. Bake the topped pizza in the oven as high as possible in a preheated oven at 175 – 200 ° C for approx. 20 minutes. Bon Appetit
