Ingredients

  • 250 g Quark
  • 100 ml Oil
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 50 g Brown sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp Cinnamon
  • 1 Vanilla pod
  • 300 g Spelt flour type 630
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 3 Apples
  • Cinnamon sugar

Instructions

  • Whisk quark with oil. Halve and scrape out the vanilla pod and add to the quark mixture with the sugar, cinnamon and vanilla sugar. I always put the empty vanilla pod in sugar!
  • Mix flour with baking powder. Wash the apples and peel them if necessary, chop them roughly. Then add the apples with flour to the quark mixture and mix everything well! The dough is relatively firm!

Set the oven to 180 degrees for circulating air!

  • Then cut off the mixture with a (wet) ice cream scoop and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper! Then bake the balls for 20-25 minutes.
  • Then roll the balls in cinnamon sugar while they are still hot and let them cool on a rack! But they taste best lukewarm! 🙂
