Apple-banana Cake
The perfect apple-banana cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 Sour little apple
- 2 Bananas
- 75 g Raisins
- 1 Egg
- 2 tl Grated lemon peel
- 2 tbsp Freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1 tbsp Freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 225 g Flour
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- 170 gr Brown soft sugar
- 120 gr Very cold butter
- Let the finished cake rest for at least 2-4 hours! then it tastes even better!
- Preheat the oven to 160 degrees. Put the butter in the freezer for about 10 minutes.
- Butter and flour a cake pan of 24 cm and put in a cool place.
- Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, lemon zest and brown sugar in a large bowl.
- Add the butter in pieces and work in well until the mixture is crumbly.
- Peel and core the apples and grate directly over the grater (do not grate finely), mix in the lemon juice,
- Mash the bananas in a deep plate with a fork and mix with the orange juice,
- Pour the banana pulp, raisins and egg over the mixture and mix everything thoroughly with a wooden ladle.
- Pour into the prepared cake pan and bake for a good 1 hour.
- Let rest in the mold for 5-10 minutes.
- Remove from the cake tin and allow to cool on a wire rack! The cake tastes even better after 2 hours or, preferably, overnight!
