Ingredients
 

  • 100 g Butter
  • 125 g Sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 4 drops Lemon baking oil
  • 200 g Flour
  • 0,5 packet Baking powder
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 750 g Apples
  • Salt
  • 75 g Chocolate shavings
  • Powdered sugar
  • Breadcrumbs for the cake pan

Instructions
 

  • Mix the butter, sugar and eggs together well
  • Mix the flour with the baking powder and add to the egg mixture
  • Add the baking oil, lemon and a little salt and mix everything together to form a smooth batter. Then fold in the chocolate shavings
  • Peel, core and quarter the apples
  • Cut the upper curved side with a sharp knife, but do not cut through
  • Put the cake batter into a springform pan that has been greased and sprinkled with breadcrumbs
  • Spread the apple quarters on the cake batter
  • Preheat the oven to 175 ° C and bake the cake for about 45 minutes. Pay attention to the browning and do a cooking test
  • After cooling, sprinkle with powdered sugar
