Ingredients
- 100 g Butter
- 125 g Sugar
- 3 Eggs
- 4 drops Lemon baking oil
- 200 g Flour
- 0,5 packet Baking powder
- 2 tbsp Milk
- 750 g Apples
- Salt
- 75 g Chocolate shavings
- Powdered sugar
- Breadcrumbs for the cake pan
Instructions
- Mix the butter, sugar and eggs together well
- Mix the flour with the baking powder and add to the egg mixture
- Add the baking oil, lemon and a little salt and mix everything together to form a smooth batter. Then fold in the chocolate shavings
- Peel, core and quarter the apples
- Cut the upper curved side with a sharp knife, but do not cut through
- Put the cake batter into a springform pan that has been greased and sprinkled with breadcrumbs
- Spread the apple quarters on the cake batter
- Preheat the oven to 175 ° C and bake the cake for about 45 minutes. Pay attention to the browning and do a cooking test
- After cooling, sprinkle with powdered sugar
