Apple Snails

- 30 g Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 packet Dry yeast or 1/2 cube of fresh yeast
- 1 tablespoon Natural yoghurt
- 70 g Soft butter
- 1 Teaspoon (level) Baking powder
- 300 g Flour
- 1,5 Apples
- Vanilla sugar
- Liquid butter
- Cinnamon and sugar mixture
- Lemon juice
- Mix the milk, sugar and yeast until the yeast dissolves, cover and let stand for 5 minutes. Put the other ingredients in a mixing bowl, then add the yeast mixture and knead everything well. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Peel and core the apples, cut into small cubes and drizzle with a good squeeze of lemon, mix together and set aside, covered. After the dough has risen, preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread thinly with butter, spread the apple pieces on top and sprinkle with a little vanilla sugar.
- From the broad side, roll up the dough, cut into 2cm wide strips and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Put in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. It made 13 particles.
- As soon as the snails are ready, brush with a little liquid butter and sprinkle with a cinnamon-sugar mixture or dip in it for a short time. Then just enjoy!
