Apple Strudel Muffins

  • 2 medium sized Apples red
  • 1 small Lemon untreated
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp Flour
  • 80 g Liquid butter
  • 1,5 tbsp Breadcrumbs
  • 21 piece Yufka pastry sheets
  • 0,25 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Sifted powdered sugar
  • 40 g Sugar


  • Wash apples, peel, halve, core and cut into thin slices. Wash the lemon with hot water, rub the peel, cut the lemon in half and squeeze. Melt the butter in a saucepan.
  • Add lemon juice and zest to the apples in a bowl. Add the sugar, vanilla sugar, flour, breadcrumbs and spices and mix everything together well. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  • Lay out Yufka dough sheets (10 + 10 cm) on a worktop and brush with the butter. Place 3 sheets of dough in each well, offset the silicone molds. Evenly distribute the apple filling. Bake the apple strudel muffins in the lower third of the oven for about 40 minutes Dust with icing sugar and serve lukewarm.
