The perfect baguette recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For the dough:

  • 300 g Flour
  • 1 packet Dry yeast
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • 150 ml Warm water

For the dough:

  1. Put the flour in a bowl.
  2. Add the dry yeast and mix.
  3. Add salt, sugar, oil and water and knead everything well.
  4. Cover the dough and let rise for about 30 minutes.
  5. Shape the dough into a long, narrow loaf, score several times with the knife and place on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake at 200 degrees top and bottom heat for about 20 minutes.
