Ingredients

* for the dough

  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp Water hot
  • 45 g Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla sugar
  • 30 g Flour
  • 25 g Food starch
  • 0,5 tsp Baking powder
  • 2 pinch Christmas spice mix

* for filling and topping

  • 100 g Butter
  • 80 g Powdered sugar
  • 40 g Cocoa powder
  • 1 pinch Christmas spice mix
  • 1 pinch Tonka vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp Water
  • White chocolate flakes for decoration

Instructions

  • Beat egg and water together until frothy, then add sugar and vanilla sugar and continue beating.
  • Mix the flour, cornstarch, baking powder and spice mixture and stir in.
  • Now put the dough in a greased, dusted star shape and bake in the oven preheated to 180 ° C for about 20 minutes (stick test).
  • After baking, turn them out onto a wire rack. (If the mold doesn't come off yet, leave it on top until it cools down a bit.)
  • Cut through the cooled ground once.
  • Beat the butter for the filling / topping until frothy. Mix the powdered sugar, cocoa, vanilla sugar and spice mixture and mix in with the water.
  • Spread about a quarter of the mixture on the lower floor.
  • Place the top one on top and then brush the entire cake with it.
  • Then sprinkle with white chocolate flakes or something similar.
  • Place the cake in the refrigerator until the topping has set.
  • PS: If you like it a little sweeter, you can also use 100g powdered sugar and 20g cocoa for the filling / topping.
