Beef Braised Beef in Mushroom Sauce
The perfect beef braised beef in mushroom sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 kilogram Beef pot roast
- 2 medium-sized Chopped onions
- 2 piece Garlic cloves chopped
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper from the mill to taste
- 2 tablespoon Butter
- 500 Milliliters Water
- 1 tablespoon Dried oregano
- 500 g Fresh mushrooms
- To start with, clean and cut the mushrooms and put the stems aside.
- Rub the meat all around with salt and pepper. I always grind the pepper fresh. Now brown the roast on both sides in a frying pan or saucepan. Add onion, chopped mushroom stalks and fry with. The stems give the sauce a good taste right from the start. Finally, sweat the garlic through.
- Deglaze everything with water and add oregano. Bring to the boil once and then stew off the stove for 2 hours with the lid closed.
- 20 minutes before the end of the cooking time, add the mushrooms. Then stew to the end. Finally, bind the sauce as usual and season everything well again.
- There was also boiled potatoes. Good Appetite.
