Beef with Paprika Mix and Mie Noodles

The perfect beef with paprika mix and mie noodles recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Beef with a pepper mix:

  • 250 g Steak hip
  • 500 g Paprika (red, green and yellow)
  • 50 Spring onions
  • 2 g Large, brown mushrooms approx. 150 g
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 Pieces Ginger the size of a walnut
  • 1 Large, red chilli pepper
  • 3 tbsp Sunflower oil
  • 1 tsp Glutamate alternatively 1 teaspoon instant chicken broth

Marinade:

  • 3 big pinches Coarse sea salt from the mill
  • 3 big pinches Colorful pepper from the mill
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tsp Tapioca starch
  • 1 tbsp Sweet soy sauce

Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp Sweet soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Dark soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Fish sauce
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Tapioca starch
  • 200 ml Beef broth (1 teaspoon instant)

Mie noodles:

  • 150 g Mie noodles
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Sunflower oil

Serve:

  • 9 Small parsley stalks for garnish

Beef pepper mix:

  1. Wash the beef, pat dry with kitchen paper, cut in half lengthways, cut into thin slices and sprinkle with coarse sea salt from the mill (3 big pinches), colored pepper from the mill (3 big pinches), sesame oil (1 teaspoon), tapioca starch ( 1 teaspoon) and sweet soy sauce (1 tbsp) marinate for about 30 minutes. Clean and wash the peppers and cut into small diamonds. Clean / brush the mushrooms, halve and cut into slices. Clean and wash the spring onions and cut diagonally into pieces approx. 2 – 3 cm long. Peel and finely dice the ginger and garlic cloves. Clean / core the chilli pepper, wash and finely dice.

Sauce:

  1. Mix a sauce from beef broth (200 ml), sweet soy sauce (2 tbsp), dark soy sauce (2 tbsp), fish sauce (1 tsp), sugar (1 tsp), tapioca starch (1 tsp)

Mie noodles:

  1. Let Mie noodles (150 g) soak in hot salted water (1 teaspoon of salt) for a few minutes, drain through a kitchen sieve, return to the hot saucepan and toss in sunflower oil (1 teaspoon) to prevent them from sticking together.

Beef with paprika mix and Mie noodles:

  1. Heat sunflower oil (3 tbsp) in the wok and fry the beef slices vigorously in portions and slide them to the edge of the wok. Now add the vegetables one after the other (garlic clove cubes + ginger cubes + chili pepper cubes, paprika diamonds + mushroom slices + spring onion pieces), sauté / stir fry each time and deglaze / pour on the prepared sauce. Let everything simmer / cook with the lid closed for about 10 minutes. Finally, season with Glu-tamat (1 teaspoon) or alternatively instant chicken broth (1 teaspoon) and fold in the prepared Mie noodles and heat everything briefly.

Serve:

  1. Serve the beef with the paprika mix and Mie noodles, garnished with parsley.
