Ingredients

  • 560 g Flour
  • 400 g Butter
  • 200 g Ground hazelnuts
  • 140 g Sugar
  • 250 g Powdered sugar
  • 4 PK Vanilla sugar
  • 1 Egg yolk
  • 1 piece Untreated lemon 8) zest

Instructions

  • Knead a smooth dough out of all the ingredients except the powder and vanilla sugar
  • Put the rolling pin in the refrigerator and in the meantime prepare a sugar bath from the powdered sugar and vanilla sugar by rolling the croissants
  • Make a long noodle out of the dough and cut off approx. 4 cm long strips at regular intervals, shape them into a semicircle and place them on the baking sheet
  • Bake the croissants at 170 degrees until they are a bit browner than before (makes about 3 trays
  • While they're hot, roll around in the powdered sugar bath. FINISHED!!!!!! Tip: This recipe can be combined well with my wheeled cookies, as these also require a powdered sugar bath with the same amount. So you can simply prepare twice the amount and put everything in just one container
