6 Low-Calorie and Healthy Sweets That Do Not Harm Your Figure

Dieting and desserts can be combined. Some desserts are not only allowed for weight loss but are even useful. They raise your mood and improve your gastrointestinal tract.

Fruit jelly

Calorie: 50-70 kcal/100g, depending on the type of fruit and the amount of sugar.

Jelly is not only low-calorie but also very useful. Jelly can be made on the basis of gelatin, pectin, or agar-agar – all three substances are very useful for the intestines and bones. Previously, we wrote about why gelatin is useful.

Ready-made store-bought jelly can also be present in a diet, but it is better to prepare the dessert yourself. To do this, bring any juice or compote to a boil, and dissolve the gelatin in the hot juice. You will need 20 grams of gelatin for 500 ml of juice. Add any fruit or berries and leave them in the fridge to cool down.

Marmalade

Calorie: approximately 80 kcal/100g.

The Marmalade recipe is similar to jelly, but with a higher concentration of gelatin or pectin. Fruit marmalade is good for the bones, digestive tract, and nervous system. But it is not easy to find natural marmalade in the store.

To maximize the benefits of the desert, it is better to make it yourself. It is not difficult: mix 6 spoons of sugar, 2 spoons of lemon juice, and 30 g of gelatin into 200 ml of hot apple or berry compote. Pour into molds and cool.

Homemade plombière

Calories: 250 kcal/100g in a classic recipe, about 100 kcal/100g in a diet recipe.

Homemade ice cream contains no harmful fats or flour components. Milk, cream, yolks, and sugar – everything is very simple and nothing unnecessary. Without harming your figure, you can eat such a dessert 2 times a week.

Marshmallow

Calorie: 120-200 kcal/100 grams, depending on the amount of sugar.

Marshmallow refers to jelly desserts, the benefits of which we have already mentioned. Its caloric value is higher than that of jelly and marmalade, but marshmallow is more filling and it is not eaten a lot.

Store-bought marshmallows are more caloric and can be eaten in very small portions. Homemade marshmallows are made from whipped chicken protein, apple puree, and gelatin. If the apples are sweet, you can not add sugar and the caloric value of the dessert will decrease.

Oatmeal pancakes

Calorie: 130 kcal/100 g.

Oatmeal pancakes are easy to make and very fashionable sweets, which have become popular among young people. Many youth cafes have such desserts on their menus. The caloric content of oatmeal pancakes is lower than that of traditional pancakes, while they are very hearty and can replace a full breakfast.

Yogurts

Calorie content: 60 kcal/100g in yogurt without any additives.

Yogurt is very good for the stomach thanks to its high content of lactic acid bacteria. The yogurt itself is low-calorie, so you can add ground cookies, chocolate, cereal, fruit, and berries to it. You can also add gelatin to yogurt and make a yogurt pannacotta.
