After – wipe with a damp cloth. To remove more severe rust after you can use an aluminum dish scraper (if not – replace it with foil) and thoroughly clean the object. However, it is worth bearing in mind that after such a “hard” cleaning, the metal should be treated with protective agents, because the structure of its surface will be disturbed.

Baking soda can also help remove small pockets of rust. You will need the same sodium bicarbonate solution and a toothbrush or rag. You can also pretreat the corrosion area with vinegar, and then apply it.
Soda does not affect rubber badly, so its solution can wash dirty car tires. To get a thick paste, you need to mix it with water in proportions of one to one, apply it to the rubber, and then rinse. They will not become perfectly black, but they will look almost like new.
