Pour water and vinegar in a 1:1 ratio into an empty container with a sprinkler. Apply the solution to the mirror and wipe with paper or a microfiber cloth. This mixture leaves fewer streaks than glass cleaner.

Add 1 ml of ammonia to 1 liter of water. Treat the mirror with this solution and wipe dry with a cotton cloth or tissue.
Another ammonia remedy for tough dirt can be made if you have toothpowder. Mix ammonia and tooth powder in a 1:1 ratio. Apply to the mirror, then rinse and wipe with a soft cloth.
