How to Wash Grass from Jeans: 5 Proven Methods

  • Do not rub a fresh stain with wet or dry rags or cloths – this will only make it worse;
  • Remember that the stain spot may lighten after washing, so proceed carefully.

How to wash grass from colored clothing – options

5 reliable means, with the help of which you can easily and quickly get rid of unwanted stains on jeans or other things:

Cooking salt

Mix salt with water in a ratio of 1 tbsp of salt per glass of water. Apply the solution to the soiled area, leave it for 30-40 minutes, and then wash the clothes in the machine. You can also use a hand wash, but then make sure that you rinse the thing thoroughly.

Ammonia Alcohol

This option of getting rid of stains is suitable even for old dirt. You need to take a 250 ml glass and dilute 1 tsp of ammonia in warm water. If the stain is more than 5 cm in diameter, then increase the proportions. Leave the thing for 15-20 minutes to let the ammonia absorb, and then rub the stain with laundry soap. Soak for 20 minutes in warm water, then wash in the machine.

Hydrogen peroxide

Use hydrogen peroxide only on light-colored clothes, otherwise together with the grass stain the paint from dark clothes can escape as well. To remove a grass stain, pour the peroxide over the problem area on the front and back of the garment, rub hard, and wash the thing as usual.
