Indoor Flowers Will Be Healthy and Lush: Add This to Watering Water

If your potted plants have become stunted, have dry leaves, and flowers have become small and dull, they may be lacking in vitamins. There are a few tricks to make the flowers in the pot quickly “come to life” and delight you with lush blooms. Experienced florists advise adding some simple ingredients to the water for watering.

Honey

We have already told you how to choose high-quality honey. As it turned out, this product is useful not only for people but also for indoor plants. Honey is dissolved in warm water (1 tablespoon per 1 liter of water), and water the flowers are with this healing solution under the root.

Such a boost will refresh the flowers and make the flowering lusher, but you should not apply it more than once a month.

Aloe juice

Healing aloe juice is known as a “home doctor”. It is also useful for plants. Aloe juice is a natural growth stimulant – it accelerates the growth and flowering of plants. To prepare a life-giving solution, dissolve 1 teaspoon of juice in 1.5 liters of warm water.

Ash

Wood ash is a very valuable florist’s helper, which is often used in the vegetable garden and in the flower bed. It enriches the soil in the pot and feeds the flower with vitamins. Ash is sprinkled on the soil around the plant in the pot, and then immediately water the flower. On average, 1 to 3 spoonfuls of ash per pot, depending on the size of the plant.

Aspirin

Once every two months, aspirin can be added to the water for watering flowers – 1 tablet per liter of water. Such a solution will protect the flower from diseases and accelerate its growth, as well as make the leaves rich green.

Castor oil

Add castor oil to the water for watering plants, and you will notice that the flowers grow faster and brighter, as well as less often get sick. Take 1 teaspoon of oil per 1 liter of warm water.

Citrus pips

An infusion of citrus pips gives brightness to the flowers and makes the plant stronger and healthier. Fill a large handful of any citrus pips with a pot of water. Leave to infuse for 24 hours, then water the plants under the root.
