Coffee

Many people like to drink coffee in the morning, but this habit can end in gastritis. Coffee is highly acidic and negatively affects the acidity of gastric juice. And if the drink is hot, the pain in the stomach is almost guaranteed. It is better to drink coffee slightly cooled and only after breakfast, not before it.

Bananas

These fruits contain a lot of magnesium, which is undoubtedly necessary for the body. But it is better not to eat them on an empty stomach, so as not to disturb the calcium-magnesium balance of the body.

Smoked meat

Smoked meats are not good for the body, and it’s especially not worth eating them on an empty stomach. This is very heavy food for the stomach, which takes a long time to digest and can cause cramps.

Raw Vegetables

Fresh vegetables are certainly very useful, but not on an empty stomach. It is better to eat them already after breakfast or set them aside for lunch. Raw vegetables have a lot of acids, which irritate the stomach and its mucous membranes. Tomatoes, peppers, onions, and garlic are especially full of acids.

Citrus and citrus juice

The reason why you should not eat citrus fruits in the morning is the same as in the case of vegetables. They are rich in various acids that are good for the body, but not on an empty stomach. There is also a lot of sugar in citrus fruits, which stresses the pancreas.

Sweet

A jam sandwich or a sweet croissant is very nice to eat for breakfast, but not very healthy. Our bodies are not ready to digest sweets in the morning. After waking up, the body has too little insulin to digest sugary foods. This kind of breakfast can “provide” you with a spike in insulin.

Instant cereals and porridge

Instant cereal and sweet cornflakes should not be eaten for breakfast. As mentioned, sugary foods are poorly digested in the morning. In addition, such products are usually made with a lot of preservatives and harmful sweeteners. Such a breakfast refers to fast carbohydrates and the feeling of hunger after it will return very quickly.

Alcohol

To brighten up your breakfast with a sip of wine is not a good idea. Alcohol categorically should not be drunk on an empty stomach, otherwise, its toxic effect on the body will increase, and the blood glucose level will fall sharply. In addition, alcohol causes hunger, so you may overeat at breakfast and then suffer from a heavy stomach.
