You Can Find This Product in Every Kitchen

The oven is considered one of the dirtiest places in the kitchen – all because regular use causes the door and glass to become covered in dirt. Grease marks, soot, and even dust are all left on the inside and outside.

How to clean the glass in the oven inside with baking soda – a proven method

In order to quickly return the oven door to an acceptable appearance, you can prepare a paste of baking soda. You will need:

  • 6 tbsp of baking soda;
  • 2 Tbsp. warm water.

Mix these ingredients into a thick porridge and apply it to the glass of the oven on the inside and outside. Leave for 15 minutes, then scrub the glass thoroughly with the hard side of a sponge. Metal scrapers can also be used, but be careful not to scratch the glass. The final step is to wipe the oven door with a sponge soaked in warm water, remove any product residue, and wipe dry with a rag. You can additionally use a glass cleaner – then the door will shine.

How to clean the oven glass from soot and old stains

If you notice that the dirt is not cleaned just like that, and heavy artillery is needed:

  • heat the oven to 40-50 °C;
  • Spray a detergent or a solution of vinegar and water on the glass (2 parts vinegar, 1 part water).

Then you need to leave the oven for 5 minutes, and then carefully rub the glass with a sponge to “remove” all the dirt. In the end, it will be enough to rinse off the rest of the product with warm water and wipe the oven door dry.

Remember that a problem is easier to prevent than to solve, so take care of your oven regularly. Wash the door and glass after each use, paying special attention to grease stains or stuck food pieces. If you put such a ritual in your daily cleaning calendar, you won’t have a problem with old stains on the oven door.
