Bread with Toasted Sunflower Seeds

The perfect bread with toasted sunflower seeds recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 100 g Roasted sunflower seeds
  • 400 g Flour 405
  • 150 g Flour 1050
  • 2 Tl Salt
  • 3 El Garlic oil
  • 2 Tl Dry malt coffee – Caro
  • 300 ml Lukewarm water
  • 0,5 dice Yeast
  • 1 Tl Sugar
  1. Roast the sunflower seeds fat-free in a coated pan and let them cool.
  2. Put all the ingredients in a bowl. Dissolve the yeast with the sugar in the lukewarm water and add to the other ingredients and knead vigorously.
  3. Let rise in a warm place for 45 minutes. Then knead again and place in a proofing basket or shape into a loaf of bread. Now let go for another 90 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 170 °. Put the bread in the oven. Bake for 45 minutes.
  5. If you want, you can coat the bread with coffee or malt halfway through the cooking time, this gives it a shine and a beautiful color
