Bread – without Yeast
The perfect bread – without yeast recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 135 g Sunflower seeds
- 95 g Linseed
- 145 g Oatmeal
- 65 g Hazelnuts or almonds
- 3 tbsp Chia seeds
- 4 tbsp Psyllium husks
- 1 tsp Fine sea salt
- 2 tbsp Maple syrup or honey
- 3 tbsp Coconut oil
- 350 ml Lukewarm water
- Put all dry ingredients except for the last 3 ingredients in a bowl and mix well. I ground the sunflower seeds and linseed and ground the almonds. Put a few of the oatmeal aside, they come on top.
- Let the coconut oil become liquid in a water bath and mix the liquid ingredients in a separate bowl, or, this is how I do it, add the coconut oil to the warm water, let it soften, then add and mix to a dough. If it seems too thick just add a little water.
- Put the dough in a mold and let it stand for a good 3 hours, I like to prepare the dough in the evening and let it stand overnight. Before baking, spread the oat flakes over the top, you can also use other seeds. Now bake the bread at 190 degrees for 30 minutes, then remove it from the mold and finish baking for another 20-30 minutes, you can check whether the bread is open with the knock test, it must then sound hollow.
- Let the bread cool down well and it will keep airtight for a good 4 – 5 days, I will freeze it in portions 🙂
