Ingredients

  • 1 kg Mixed minced meat
  • 1 Pc. Fresh broccoli
  • 1 tbsp Mustard medium hot
  • 1 tbsp Medium hot horseradish
  • 2 Pc. Free range eggs
  • 2 Pc. Rolls old
  • 3 Pc. Garlic cloves
  • 1 Pc. Big onion
  • Sea salt
  • Pepper Parieser
  • 1 packet Cooked ham
  • 3 tbsp Rapeseed oil
  • Butter

Instructions

  • First soak the rolls, as everyone always does, with us in water. Then clean the broccoli, remove the stalk as much as possible and then cut crosswise. Cook the head in boiling salted water for approx. 7 - 10 minutes, depending on the size, until firm, (better defend yourself, who has in the steamer), it should not fall apart if possible.
  • In the meantime, prepare the minced meat. To do this, put the minced meat in a suitable container, add the ingredients, eggs, salt, mustard, horseradish, pepper, diced onion and finely chopped garlic, squeeze out the rolls and add them to the minced meat and finish the minced dough from it, season again to taste and season it if necessary. Of course, everyone can season the minced meat in their own way.
  • Place the cooked broccoli on the drip pan or the roaster lid, now the minced meat is formed around the head, nothing needs to be left, also brush the minced meat in well from behind, so that a nice round ball is created. Put the rapeseed oil in the roasting pan.
  • Slide the drip pan into the oven preheated to 200 ° C on the middle rail for approx. 1 hour. After half the time, about 25 - 30 minutes, distribute the boiled ham slices over the cabbage, pour a few flakes of butter and cook the rest of the time. In between, you can even test the minced meat with a stick or meat fork, if cloudy water comes out, continue baking, if the water is clear, the minced meat is good and can be taken out of the oven. A sauce can be made from the gravy.
  • Cut the head of cabbage open, arrange on flat plates and serve, fresh bread, baguette or pasta and potatoes of all kinds are suitable as a side dish.
