Caipirinha Tiramisu

The perfect caipirinha tiramisu recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For the cream mass

  • 500 g Mascarpone
  • 200 g Sour cream
  • 6 Pc. Limes
  • 5 tbsp Pitu
  • 5 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 200 ml Cream
  • 1 Pck. Cream stiffener
  • 1 Pck. Vanilla sugar

The ladyfingers

  • 200 g Ladyfingers
  • 30 ml Pitu
  • 2 Pc. Limes

Decoration

  • Brown sugar
  • 1 Pc. Limes
  1. First you put the pitu together with the juice of the two limes in a deep container and mix the two well together. Now you put the ladyfingers in there, turn them around and put them in a baking dish. Continue this step until the bottom of the mold is completely covered with ladyfingers.
  2. Then mix the mascarpone with the sour cream, lime juice, pitu and brown sugar and stir everything together well. Then whip the cream with the vanilla sugar and cream stiffener until stiff and carefully fold it into the mascarpone mixture.
  3. Finally, put the mixture on the ladyfingers and distribute them evenly. The decoration is up to you. My idea: sprinkle with brown sugar and finally cut the last limes lengthways, cut a little and turn both ends of the slice in the opposite direction and place on the mass.
  4. Let it set in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
