Ingredients
 

  • 500 g Wheat flour type 550
  • 20 g Yeast fresh
  • 10 g Salt
  • 300 ml Water
  • Caraway seeds
  • Parchment paper

Instructions
 

  • Dissolve the yeast in the water. Mix flour with salt and pour in the yeast water. Work into a soft dough with your hands. Cover and let rise for 1 hour. During this time, knead well twice with wet hands.
  • Then knead the dough well on a floured work surface. Shape into a roll. Cut about 8 pieces from this. Pull apart into bars. Place on a baking tray covered with baking paper. Brush with water and sprinkle with caraway seeds. Let it rest for another 20 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 250 degrees. Place an ovenproof dish with water in it. Insert the tray in the middle and bake for 10 minutes at 250 degrees. Then turn the oven down to 180 degrees and bake for another 10 minutes. Take out and let cool down.
