Ingredients

Cevapcici in a vegetable coating

  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Clove of garlic large
  • Mixed herbs frozen according to taste
  • 500 g Ground beef
  • 0,5 Sachets Baking powder
  • Salt, gourmet pepper to taste
  • Paprika powder to taste
  • 15 g Wheat flour 405
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Zucchini
  • Rapeseed oil to taste

Additionally

  • 1 Cup Rice
  • 2 cups Water
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Peel the onion, clove of garlic and put in a food processor / lightning chopper, chop. Add the mixed frozen herbs and stir. Add the ground beef and the baking powder, the spices, the wheat flour and finally the egg. Now knead everything or knead with clean hands in a bowl.
  • Wash the zucchini beforehand and slice lengthways into thin slices using a peeler. Now, with clean hands, shape the minced meat dough into cevapcici according to taste and wrap each with a zucchini slice. Then place on a stone (greased) or on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees top / bottom heat. Brush all formed cevapcici with the vegetable coating with a little rapeseed oil and sprinkle each with a pinch of gourmet pepper & salt. Then put in the preheated oven on the middle rack and bake for 30 minutes.
  • I've been cooking rice in the microwave in the meantime. Take out later and put on the plate as much as you like. Serve with the cooked rice.
