Cherry Pudding Cake

for the cream

  • 90 g Sugar
  • 130 g Butter
  • 100 g Ground almonds
  • 1 tbsp Water
  • 600 ml Milk
  • 2 P Vanilla custard powder
  • 120 g Sugar
  • 250 g Quark
  • 200 g Sour cream
  • 500 g Cherries

for the sprinkles

  • 250 g Flour
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 100 g Melted butter
  1. For the shortcrust pastry, knead all the ingredients together and press the pastry onto a baking sheet (30 x 25 cm) with your hands.
  2. Mix the pudding powder with a little milk until smooth, heat the remaining milk and cook a thick pudding while stirring.
  3. Stir in the sugar, let it cool slightly and then stir in the quark and sour cream.
  4. Prick the dough several times with a fork and spread the pudding filling on top.
  5. Process the flour, sugar and melted butter into streusel.
  6. Cover the cake with cherries and sprinkle the crumble on top.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 160 ° for about 40 minutes.
