Cherry Pudding Cake
The perfect cherry pudding cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
for the cream
- 90 g Sugar
- 130 g Butter
- 100 g Ground almonds
- 1 tbsp Water
- 600 ml Milk
- 2 P Vanilla custard powder
- 120 g Sugar
- 250 g Quark
- 200 g Sour cream
- 500 g Cherries
for the sprinkles
- 250 g Flour
- 100 g Sugar
- 100 g Melted butter
- For the shortcrust pastry, knead all the ingredients together and press the pastry onto a baking sheet (30 x 25 cm) with your hands.
- Mix the pudding powder with a little milk until smooth, heat the remaining milk and cook a thick pudding while stirring.
- Stir in the sugar, let it cool slightly and then stir in the quark and sour cream.
- Prick the dough several times with a fork and spread the pudding filling on top.
- Process the flour, sugar and melted butter into streusel.
- Cover the cake with cherries and sprinkle the crumble on top.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 160 ° for about 40 minutes.
