Chicken Drumsticks Braised – Italian Style-
The perfect chicken drumsticks braised – italian style- recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 4 Chicken leg
- Paprika powder
- Seasoned salt from my KB
- Garlic pepper from my KB
- 1 pinch Mace
- Olive oil
- 4 Pc. Fresh shallots
- 2 Pc. Garlic cloves
- 1 Pc. Carrot
- 3 tbsp Tomato paste
- 200 ml White wine dry
- 200 ml Water
- 1 Can Date tomatoes
- Rosemary fresh
- 3 small Bay leaf fresh
- 1 pinch Sugar
- Telly cherry pepper
- 2 tbsp Capers
- Divide the chicken drumstick into 2 or 3 parts. Then season with paprika powder, seasoned salt, garlic pepper and mace. Peel the shallots, garlic and carrots. Cut the shallots in wedges, finely grate the garlic and finely dice the carrot. Chop the rosemary.
Set the oven to top / bottom heat at 200 °!
- Heat the olive oil in a roasting pan and fry the chicken on all sides until crispy. Remove from the roaster and fry shallots and carrots in the same fat, then add tomato paste and roast briefly! Then deglaze with white wine, bring to the boil briefly and add water, date tomatoes, bay leaves and rosemary.
- Season with seasoning salt and garlic pepper. Place the chicken pieces in the sauce with the skin facing upwards and cook everything in the preheated oven for 45 minutes! Meanwhile, chop capers.
- Then take the chicken pieces out of the sauce and keep them warm in the oven! Refine the sauce with sugar and pepper and add capers.
- Serve! There was also pasta and Parmesan!
