Instructions

fricassee

  • Place shredded soy in hot vegetable stock and a little soy sauce and let stand for about 10 minutes.
  • Cut the onions into small pieces and fry the champis in slices in a pan
  • Fry the champis and onions for a long time, remove the soy shredded from the vegetable stock and squeeze out
  • and then add to the pan and fry it nicely (like chicken) until it turns a little brown
  • Melt the margarine in a pot at the same time, add the flour and sweat it. it shouldn't turn brown! then add the vegetable stock.
  • Throw everything from the pan into the pot and season with salt and pepper and possibly a little soy sauce and simmer.

Basmati rice

  • Heat some oil in a saucepan and then add the rice and let it get hot
  • then pour water over it (should hiss) and let it boil briefly, then put the lid on at very low heat and let it swell. Always check to see if more water is needed and stir occasionally.
  • That was my first dish with soy flakes. I was just flabbergasted! couldn't stop eating! there was no difference to "normal" meat!
