  • 250 ml Greek yogurt
  • 2 tsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0,5 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 0,5 tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil

For the Schwarma sauce

  • 2 tbsp Sesame
  • 4 Garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 120 g Mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano

For the vegetable garnishes

  • 1 Green peppers
  • 1 Peppers yellow
  • 1 Red peppers
  • 2 Red onions

  • 4 Large wheat tortilla
  • Gherkins
  • 8 tsp Chili and Garlic Sauce
  • 8 tsp Iceberg lettuce
  • 1 bag French fries (frozen)
  • Frying fat
  • French fries seasoning salt

Marinating meat (the day before)

  • For the marinade, mix the yogurt with the spices, lemon juice and olive oil. Slice the breast fillets thinly. To do this, halve or even third the breast thickness. Then add to the marinade. Cover with cling film and store in the refrigerator for at least 5 hours.

Prepare the Schwarma sauce

  • For the Schwarma Sauce, put all the ingredients in a blender and puree to a smooth sauce.

Vegetable garnish

  • For the vegetable garnish, core the peppers and cut into thin strips. Peel the onions and cut into half rings. Then fry both in a pan with a little olive oil for 5 minutes. Then keep warm. Cut any number of gherkins into slices. Wash some lettuce leaves and cut into thin strips.

Fry French fries

  • While the vegetables are frying, bake the French fries in a deep fryer or a saucepan with frying fat for a few minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oil, drain and season with french fries seasoning salt.

Fry the meat

  • At the same time, sear the meat in a pan on both sides for a few minutes. It should be crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Then take the meat out of the pan and cut into small pieces.

Put the Chicken Schwarma Wrap together

  • Place a large wheat tortilla on a plate or board. Brush with 1 teaspoon of chili garlic sauce and 1-2 teaspoons of Schwarma sauce. Then place a few French fries in the lower third. Place lettuce and cucumber and some of the vegetable garnish on top. Then cover generously with meat. Add another teaspoon of the Schwarma sauce on top.
  • Fold the sides of the wrap up to the filling. Then fold the lower third of the wrap over the filling. In this way, roll up the wrap tightly from the bottom up. Good Appetite!
