Ingredients
- 600 g Chicken wings
*** Sauce ***
- 1,5 tbsp Brown sugar
- 4 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tsp Grated ginger
- 1 cup Orange juice
- Five-spice powder
- Garlic powder
- Chilli (cayenne pepper)
Instructions
- Heat a deep pan, add sugar, soy sauce, ginger, the spices (to taste) and about 1/3 of the orange juice, bring to a boil.
- Place the chicken wings in the sauce, turn the heat back to medium-low. Cover the pan with a suitable lid.
- Let the wings stew for about 40 minutes in the covered pan. However, turn the wings every now and then and gradually pour in some orange juice.
