Chocolate and Cherry Crumble Cake

Ingredients for the dough

  • 250 g Flour
  • 150 g Magarine
  • 125 g Sugar
  • 2 piece Eggs
  • 0,5 packet Baking powder
  • 2 tbsp Cocoa powder slightly de-oiled
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 glass Morello cherries cored and drained

Ingredients for the topping

  • 150 g Flour
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 100 g Margarine
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  1. Drain the cherries well
  1. Mix the flour with cocoa, baking powder and salt.
  1. Mix the margarine with sugar until frothy and fold in the eggs one by one. Gradually stir in the mixed flour. Carefully fold in the well-drained cherries with a spoon. Spread the dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
