Chocolate Loves Caramel
The perfect chocolate loves caramel recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
For the dough:
- 200 g Flour
- 125 g Butter
- 50 ml Water
- 1 Pc. Egg yolk
- 0,5 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Sugar
For the caramel layer:
- 250 g Sugar
- 100 g Salted butter
- 170 ml Cream
For the chocolate mass:
- 200 g Dark chocolate
- 150 ml Cream
- 30 g Butter
Dough:
- Mix the cold butter with the flour, salt and sugar. Then gradually add the egg yolk and the cold water until a ball of dough is formed.
- Fill the dough into the mold and bake for approx. 10 minutes at 180 ° C.
Caramel:
- Heat the sugar over a gentle heat with 1-2 tablespoons of water until it becomes a nice color. Remove from the heat and carefully add the heated cream.
- Mix and remove from heat. Let cool down a bit and then add the butter and stir in well.
- Place on the already cooled cake base and chill for 30 minutes.
Chocolate cream:
- Bring the cream for the chocolate cream to the boil and pour it over the finely chopped chocolate.
- Wait a minute for the chocolate to begin to melt. Stir until the chocolate has dissolved. Add the butter at the end.
- Then place on the caramel and let rest in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
