Chocolate Macaroons with Cookies and Rusks

  • 3 Pc. Egg Whites
  • 100 g Sifted powdered sugar
  • 125 g Chocolate Cookies (Bought)
  • 100 g Zwieback
  • 60 Pc. Wafer paper
  • 50 Chocolate pieces (e.g. chocolate chunks)


  • Beat the egg whites until stiff
  • Stir in the icing sugar
  • Put the cookies and rusks in a freezer bag and beat them with a meat mallet until everything is crumbled into small pieces
  • If you like it very chocolatey, you can mix in chocolate pieces (I used chocolate chunks)
  • Spread the baking wafers with SPACING on a baking sheet lined with baking paper (the cookies spread apart during baking)
  • Place small heaps on the baking wafers with two teaspoons
  • Bake at 150 degrees fan-assisted (preheated) for about 20 minutes
  • Bon appetit !!!
