Ingredients

  • 350 g Flour
  • 1 packet Dry yeast
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Savory bread seasoning as desired
  • 50 ml Dried tomato oil or olive oil
  • 100 g Dried tomatoes in oil
  • 80 g Black olives

Instructions

  • Mix the flour with dry yeast, salt and possibly bread spices in a bowl. Drain the tomatoes and cut into fine strips. Chop the olives too. Add 250 ml of water and oil to the flour, then add the olives and tomatoes.
  • Process everything with the dough hook of the hand mixer for approx. 2 minutes to a smooth dough. Let the dough rest for about 10 minutes.
  • Then dust the dough with flour and turn it out of the bowl onto the work surface. Sprinkle with flour again and then divide into approx. 8 pieces with a pastry card. Place these on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and let rest for about 5 minutes. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 220 degrees (or fan oven 200 degrees).
  • Then bake the rolls in the hot oven in the lower third for about 20 minutes. Let cool a little and serve lukewarm.
  • If you like, you can stir some crumbled feta into the batter.
