Ingredients
 

  • 375 g Flour
  • 125 g Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 Egg size M
  • 200 g Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 2 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 0,5 teaspoon Ginger bread spice
  • 3 tbsp Powdered sugar
  • Red currant jelly

Instructions
 

  • Process the flour, sugar, salt, egg, butter, baking powder and the spices quickly into a smooth dough, wrap in foil and refrigerate for approx. 1 hour.
  • Roll out the dough on a floured work surface to a thickness of approx. 3 mm and cut out flowers, also cut out every second cookie with a star shape in the middle.
  • Place the biscuits on baking sheets lined with baking paper and bake in the preheated oven to 200 ° C - O / U heat for approx. 12 minutes. Then leave to cool on a wire rack.
  • Dust the cut out cookies with powdered sugar. Warm up the jelly slightly and spread it over the whole biscuits, put them together and press lightly.
  • Place the cookies in a tin can for storage.
