Clean Eating: 3 Delicious Ideas for Your Breakfast

Conjuring up a delicious breakfast that fits the clean eating lifestyle is not that difficult. In this post, you will find three ideas for a simple, healthy breakfast that will give you a great start to the day.

Clean Eating Breakfast – Oatmeal Banana Pancakes Recipe

When it comes to clean eating, natural and unprocessed foods are used as much as possible. The menu accordingly includes a lot of fruit and vegetables, legumes, nuts, and whole grain products. These delicious pancakes are made with oatmeal and do not contain any industrial sugar.

  • You need the following ingredients: 1 large ripe banana, 100 grams of rolled oats, 200 milliliters of milk, optionally fresh fruit, and maple syrup as a topping
  • First, grind the oat flakes into fine flour with a blender or in a food processor. Then peel the banana and mash it with a fork until smooth.
  • Now mix the milk, the banana puree, and the oatmeal in a bowl to form a dough. You should now let it rest for about 10 minutes.
  • Heat some oil in a pan and gradually bake the pancakes over medium heat. They taste best garnished with fresh fruit and maple syrup.

Recipe for apple and cinnamon porridge with millet

This healthy and filling recipe is also suitable for those who suffer from gluten intolerance due to the use of millet.

  • You will need: 60 grams of millet (preferably soaked overnight), 150 milliliters of milk, 1 apple, 1 tablespoon of coconut oil, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, a handful of walnuts, and peanut butter to taste
  • Thoroughly wash the millet in a colander. Put them in a saucepan with the milk and bring to a boil. Then let the millet simmer on low heat for about ten minutes.
  • Meanwhile, cut the apple into bite-sized pieces and heat the coconut oil in a pan. Sauté the apples there with the cinnamon for a minute and briefly add the walnuts at the end.
  • As soon as the millet has absorbed the milk, fold in half of the apples and walnuts and place in a bowl.
  • Garnish with the remaining apples and a few dollops of peanut butter.

Recipe for a yogurt bowl with crunchy granola and blueberries

This granola is super crunchy and made from only natural ingredients. It keeps well sealed for about two weeks. Use it as a topping for your yogurt of choice and pair it with fresh blueberries.

  • For the granola you need: 270 grams of rolled oats, 175 grams of pitted dates, 120 milliliters of peanut butter, 140 grams of chopped nuts, 80 grams of raisins, 50 grams of pumpkin seeds, 15 grams of grated coconut, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • Preheat the oven to 150 degrees. Mix dates, peanut butter, and 50 milliliters of water in a food processor to a creamy consistency.
  • Put the remaining ingredients in a bowl and mix them with the date mixture. Spread the granola evenly on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for about thirty minutes. Give it a quick stir every 10 minutes to keep the granola from burning.
  • Allow the granola to cool and enjoy it as a topping on plain yogurt with fresh blueberries or any other fruit of your choice. Put the rest in a sealable container.
