Crostini with Ham, Pecorino and Onions

Ingredients
 

To garnish:

  • 4 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 Discs Cooked ham
  • 4 Discs Pecorino, alternatively mountain cheese
  • 4 small Onions, red
  • 4 Pinches Black pepper, fresh from the mill
  • Flowers and leaves

Instructions
 

  • Halve the rolls horizontally and roast the cut edges in the olive oil until crispy. Top with ham and pecorino cheese and bake until the pecorino cheese begins to melt.
  • In the meantime, cap the small, red onions at both ends, peel them and cut across into slices approx. 2 mm thick. Top the crostini with it and sprinkle each with a pinch of black pepper. Garnish, serve warm and enjoy.
