Cut the sausages lengthways and peel off the skin and cut into 0.5 cm pieces with a sharp knife. Shape the pieces into balls and add to the saucepan with the bacon and fry until they are nice and light brown.
While the balls are frying, peel the cucumber. Divide lengthways once and then cut in half lengthways again. Remove the seeds with a teaspoon and cut into small pieces and add them directly to the saucepan.
Add water and add the stock cubes to the pot. Let everything cook for 10 minutes.
Now stir in the bag of mashed potatoes and bring to the boil again until the sauce is nice and creamy. Season with salt & pepper and serve with potatoes.
