Ingredients

  • 150 ml Coffee hot
  • 100 g Nougat chocolate, e.g. from Ritter Sport
  • 80 g Butter at room temperature
  • 3 Eggs
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Food starch
  • 1 tsp Natural orange flavor, bakery department
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 3 tbsp Creme fraiche Cheese
  • 1 tbsp Caramel syrup
  • 2 tsp Brown sugar

aside from that:

  • Some fat for the shape
  • Some sugar for the mold

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Roughly chop the nougat chocolate and dissolve in the coffee together with the coffee while stirring. Separate an egg and beat the egg whites with a hand mixer until stiff, gradually adding the cornstarch.
  • Beat the egg yolks, eggs, sugar and orange flavor for about 5 minutes until frothy. Stir in the flour and half of the coffee-chocolate mixture (approx. 125 ml), then fold in the egg whites. Grease a small baking dish (18-20 cm) and sprinkle with sugar. Pour in the batter. Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes, then sprinkle with brown sugar. Turn on the grill from the oven and let the sugar caramelize for another 4 minutes.
  • Let the cake cool down a bit. Mix the crème fraîche with the caramel syrup. Cut off the cake in portions with a spoon and place in dessert bowls. Drizzle with the rest of the coffee-chocolate mixture and pour about a teaspoon of caramel cream over it. Serve warm and enjoy.
  • Tastes great with coffee as well as dessert. Have fun trying.
