Bread is an ideal breeding ground for mold, and it dries quickly. That’s why the right way to store bread at home is so important.

Ideally, bread should not be stored for more than three days. Usually, the taste of bread begins to deteriorate after that. How to store bread at home in the kitchen (especially in the heat) so that it remains tasty and safe for health for at least a week.

The expert reminded us that bread is an ideal environment for mold growth. Mold spores themselves are constantly present in the air, and you can’t get rid of them. And bread with mold is a very dangerous product for human health.

The second problem with the long-term storage of bread is that it dries quickly. Therefore, within a couple of days after buying bread, you can get crackers instead.

Both problems can be solved by the right storage method. You just need to store bread in the refrigerator and heat it in the microwave before eating. Better yet, store bread in the freezer.

“The ideal way to store bread if you want to keep it longer is to freeze it. In my family, we use it all the time. We don’t eat bread so quickly, and if we buy some delicious bread, we divide it in half and put half in the freezer. Then, when you need it, you can quickly “revive” it in the oven or even in the microwave,” Malozemov recommends.
