Doctor Tells Who Shouldn’t Eat Green Apples

According to the doctor, sour apple varieties can harm tooth enamel. Green apples are very good for our bodies, but there is a certain group of people who should not eat them.

Endocrinologist and nutritionist Tatyana Bocharova told us what diseases should not be eaten with green sour apples. According to the expert, first of all, such apples should not be consumed by people with pancreatitis or biliary dyskinesia, especially in the acute stage.

“With this diagnosis, it is better to choose sweet varieties, wipe apples or bake them. If you are diagnosed with gastritis or peptic ulcer disease, you should not eat more than one green apple a day. It is better if you eat it an hour after the main meal, and not on an empty stomach,” said Tatiana Bocharova.

According to the doctor, sour apple varieties can harm tooth enamel, so after eating a green apple, you should rinse your mouth with water.

“It is better for a healthy person to eat no more than two green apples a day: otherwise, the acid can irritate the mucous membranes, and as a side effect, increase appetite,” the endocrinologist added.
