Ingredients

  • 1 can Chickpeas
  • 50 g Breadcrumbs
  • 2 Onions
  • Salt, pepper, garlic, chilli, oil for frying

Dip

  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • Garlic
  • Salt, pepper, possibly chives or wild garlic

Instructions

  • Chop peas from the canned drain and process into puree with a hand blender or fork. Dried chickpeas would have to be soaked overnight and then boiled in salted water until soft, which, in my experience, takes 1 to 2 hours
  • Finely chop the onions and sweat them in oil or butter until they are golden brown, then add to the sauce and season it with the above-mentioned spices to taste very piquant, work in breadcrumbs, it must be a tough dough, shape into balls with wet hands and put them in Fry the oil until crispy
  • Mix the sour cream with the spices to make a dip. Finished! Tastes hot, lukewarm and also cold. ..s with salad as you please
  • Vegan dip: Dice canned tomatoes, add olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic, possibly oregano and chilli flakes
