Ingredients

  • 250 g Flour
  • 125 g Sanella
  • 90 g Powdered sugar
  • 1 Egg yolk
  • 1 Salt

Macadamia filling

  • 50 g Macadamia nuts
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 15 g Sanella
  • 3 tbsp Cream

Instructions

  • Knead flour, Sanella, powdered sugar, egg yolk and a pinch of salt into a dough, then wrap in foil and cool for about 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180 °. Roll out the dough thinly and cut out the same number of molds with a medium-sized and a smaller biscuit mold (should come out about 30 pieces). Place on a baking sheet with baking paper and bake for about 9-12 minutes. Cooling down.

  • Finely chop the macadamia nuts. Heat the sugar, Sanella and the cream in a saucepan. When the Sanella has melted, add the chopped macadamia nuts and bring to the boil for about 2 minutes while stirring. Let cool a little (should be a little firm) and distribute a dollop of the mixture in the middle of the large biscuits. The kl. Put cookies on. Let it set and dust with powdered sugar.
