Freezing Apples Correctly – You Should Pay Attention to This

Freeze apples – with these tips it works

  1. Before you start freezing, you need to wash and peel the apples.
  2. Then cut them into strips or bite-sized pieces.
  3. To keep the apples from turning brown, brush them with diluted lemon juice.
  4. Place parchment paper on a baking sheet and spread the apple pieces on it. Make sure there is enough space between the pieces.
  5. Then place the baking sheet in the freezer. Leave the sheet in the freezer for about 2 to 3 hours.
  6. After the specified freezing time, remove the baking tray from the chest and place the apple pieces in a freezer container or freezer bag.
  7. Label the container or bag with the current date. The apples can be frozen for about 6 to 9 months.
