Freeze apples – with these tips it works
- Before you start freezing, you need to wash and peel the apples.
- Then cut them into strips or bite-sized pieces.
- To keep the apples from turning brown, brush them with diluted lemon juice.
- Place parchment paper on a baking sheet and spread the apple pieces on it. Make sure there is enough space between the pieces.
- Then place the baking sheet in the freezer. Leave the sheet in the freezer for about 2 to 3 hours.
- After the specified freezing time, remove the baking tray from the chest and place the apple pieces in a freezer container or freezer bag.
- Label the container or bag with the current date. The apples can be frozen for about 6 to 9 months.
