Fruit Sour Cream Cake

For the dough:

  • 170 g Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 80 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 80 g Butter
  • 5 tbsp Milk

For covering:

  • 2 cups Sour cream
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 Can Fruit cocktail
  • 1 packet Glaze
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 250 ml Canned fruit juice


For the dough:

  • Sift the flour and baking powder into a mixing bowl.
  • Add sugar, vanilla sugar, eggs, butter and milk and stir.
  • Put the batter in a springform pan.
  • Bake at 180 degrees top and bottom heat for 25 minutes.

For covering:

  • Put the sour cream in a bowl and mix with the sugar and vanilla sugar.
  • Place a cake ring around the base and spread the sour cream on it.
  • Drain the fruit well and distribute it on the sour cream.
  • Prepare an icing from the cake, sugar and the fruit juice from the tin and pour it over the fruit.
  • Let it cool down and remove the cake ring.
