Ingredients

Iced tea with green tea, ginger, lemon and erythritol

  • 1,5 liter Water 80 ° C
  • 1 piece Lemon
  • 5 cm Ginger
  • 2 tablespoon Erythritol
  • 6 teaspoons of green tea

Instructions

preparation

  • In a suitable teapot, add green tea and ginger to 80 ° C hot water and let it steep for 5 minutes.
  • After 5 minutes, remove the green tea from the pot and let it cool down to approx. 50 ° C with the ginger.
  • Now remove the ginger, add the erythritol and lemon. Erythritol occurs naturally in mushrooms, cheese, fruit (strawberries, plums) or pistachios. For the quantities required by the food industry, erythritol is produced through fermentation. Erythritol contains almost no energy and has no effect on blood sugar and insulin levels.
