Green Yogurt Quark Cake

The perfect green yogurt quark cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

* for the dough

  • 1 Egg
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 50 g Flour

* for surface 1

  • 300 g Yogurt 10% fat
  • 200 g Quark
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 100 ml Water
  • 1,5 packet Woodruff jelly
  • 200 ml Cream

* for topping 2

  • 225 ml Water
  • 0,5 packet Woodruff jelly
  • 50 g Sugar
  1. For the dough, beat the egg and sugar until frothy, then add the other ingredients and stir in.
  2. Put the dough in a greased 22 or 23 cake tin and bake in the oven preheated to 180 ° C for about 15 minutes.
  3. Put the yogurt, quark and sugar in a bowl and stir. Boil water, dissolve (1.5 packets) jelly powder in it, allow to cool and stir into the yoghurt quark mixture.
  4. Whip the cream until stiff. When the cream starts to set. stir in the cream.
  5. Place a cake ring around the cooled cake base and spread the cream on it and smooth it out. Place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  6. Boil water for the second topping, stir in sugar and (0.5 packet) jelly powder and let cool (but not set). Then carefully pour onto the first topping.
  7. Put the cake back in the refrigerator until the jelly is firm.
  8. Carefully loosen the cake ring and cut the cake into pieces.
