Ingredients

  • 4 Turkey schnitzel
  • 2 Onions
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 1 Red chilli pepper
  • 3 Paprika
  • 250 ml Red wine
  • 250 ml Gravy
  • 1 Egg
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Flour
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste concentrated three times
  • Salt, pepper from the mill
  • Chilli from the mill
  • Sweet and hot peppers
  • Clarified butter

Instructions

  • Season the schnitzel with salt and pepper from the mill and bread with flour, egg and breadcrumbs. Peel the onion and cut into slices. Clean the peppers and cut into strips. Peel and chop the garlic. Core the chilli pepper and cut into small strips.
  • Fry the schnitzel in a pan with clarified butter and keep warm. Fry the onions in the same pan. Add the paprika strips, garlic and chilli pepper and let fry. Add 2 tablespoons of tomato paste and reduce with the beef stock and wine. Season sweet and hot with salt, pepper from the mill, chilli and paprika. Let the whole thing simmer over a low heat for 10 minutes.
  • Thicken the sauce with cornstarch as desired and season to taste. Now arrange the schnitzel on a plate, the sauce on top and with French fries a real hit with my children. Bon Appetit.
